And last, but by no means least, this is us at the end of the 6 day climb in our last camp! They were all great, always cheerful, attentive and dependable. Peter on the left simply whizzed past us each day with Debbie's day sack firmly on his head, January second left, our chef whose meals were delicious each night (even though some days we couldn't eat!). Eliah, third from right was our 'camp man' who effortlessly threw up the tents for us each night. Honest far right who was a star on the last night's climb - he watched us every time we faltered or breathed too deeply in case we were in trouble.
And front left, Emmanuel. He didn't say much throughout the first 5 days of the climb and at times he disappeared from our view! He was like a mountain goat, sure footed all the way and great with helping us on the last summit hike. We didn't know much about him unti day 6 until Debbie interrogated Emmanuel to find out about him in the last 3 hour hike down to the exit gate - typical!!!!!
We thank everyone in the camp crew - they were all great and I know some have access to a computer.
We also thank EVERYONE who has sponsored us - we would never have completed this without the knowledge that so much money had been raised for our charity.
