For the past 21 years we've been bringing up our kids and working hard at the family hotel - but the kids are all grown up and at University now, and the hotel can take care of itself for a bit. Now we've decided the time's right to do something we've always dreamed about - climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!


It'll be the first 'holiday' we've taken without the kids since we got married; not sure how much of a holiday it'll be though: altitude sickness, lack of sleep, temperatures of minus 20 degrees etc. It's hardly a week on the beach in Marbella... Bit scary when you think about it actually, but just imagine the views!
