Located in the heart of Medway, The King Charles Hotel is ideally situated to explore the South East of England and London. Just a 10 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride from Gillingham (Kent) Railway Station you will benefit from regular services available to abd from London Victoria, London Charing Cross and London St Pancras International and the South coast.

We are situated on Brompton Road in Gillingham, between Medway Valley Park and The Royal Engineers Museum.

The £63 million Dockside Outlet Centre is a Grade ll Listed Building and was originally constructed at Woolwich Dockyard in approximately 1847, but was dismantled and re-erected in Chatham Dockyard in around 1876. The building is historically important, as an early example of the use of cast and wrought iron, most of which can still be viewed.
